CNHTC stands for the Canadian National Housing Transformation Consortium, a non-profit consortium formed by a group of industry leaders to support the Government of Canada’s Build Canada Homes (BCH) mandate to address Canada’s housing crisis.

CNHTC’s objective is to provide a scalable, affordable, and sustainable housing solution by:

• Using industrialized modular construction to accelerate delivery timelines.

• Establishing a phased approach through immediate proof-of-concept projects, regional assembly plants, and long-term Canadian manufacturing capacity.

• Supporting technology transfer and workforce development to strengthen Canada’s construction sector.

• Promote green technologies and provide net-zero housing solutions throughout Canada.

• Positioning Canada as a global leader in modular housing innovation for both domestic needs and future exports.
